Like I’ve confessed before, I am a list-aholic.
Monday I was feeling very down and agitated for no particular reason. It was just one of those days when you can’t shake the restlessness and bad feelings. I found myself stressing over very silly things. Finally sick of this “thunderstormy” mood I decided to make a game plan. Similar to my Dream Book I wrote down what I perceived as a problem and an action plan to fix it.
By the second “problem,” I was in much better spirits. I was able to “vocalize” my issues and better yet, I had action plans to fix it! I felt great and it really helped me realize how trivial the things annoying me were. So the next time you’re feeling down or overwhelmed write down whats bothering you (don’t TYPE, WRITE IT DOWN) and soon your problems will seem a lot smaller than before.
Remember your problems can only defeat you if you let them!
I agree! It is always best to write it down instead of typing, it’s not the same. I also write everything down good and bad. At times i have huge sheets of paper on my wall and just start writing things down…
